The South Oakland Ducks of the North Side (2-2, 0-1) defeated the Hurricanes 1-0 in what was apparently a phenomenal game.
James Teyssier shut down the Fightin’s. We hope to have a recap of this up shortly.
The Ducks evened their record at 2-2 with a 15-2 win over the Warriors on Sunday.
Mark Guthrie picked up the win on the mound and went 2 for 4 at the plate.

South Oakland will take on the Rebels Gray Bats Militia Wednesday Night at SpringView Field.
The Ducks 0-1 with fifteen rainouts are eager to get the season started.
The Elliot vs Black Sox game tonight should be a good one.
This will be only the 4th game of the season league-wide if we play, and there’s still plenty of time for it to rain.
Its been all down hill for South Side since they lost that lefty short stop, or quit playing him there or whatever.
We will probably get Adam Smith on the mound.
We’re rolling with 8 guys and an actual duck until sometime between the 7th-12th of May.

There are several players who have paid me nothing, this is not ideal.
If nothing changes it’s going to be over 250 thanks to the uniforms, but they look great and we won’t have to get new ones for eight more years.
This number should drop.

OTHER DETAILS: – Lakevue North will provide one 1/4 barrel of beer for the outing. Each cart is welcome to carry one six-pack of beer that may be brought in or purchased from the course.
– Check-In will be at 12:45pm at Lakevue North under the pavilion. Tee times will be staggered in ten-minute start times from 1:30pm till approx. 2:30pm. Accommodations can be made if a certain start time is desired.

In a testament to how far the Pittsburgh NABA has come in eight seasons, Kenny Powers, one of the leagues original super stars has signed a deal with K-Swiss.
Adidas had an offer on the table but backed out when the Ducks upset the Sox in the finals.
